After speaking with Captain Brad, I felt confident he would treat the ashes with great respect. He supplied the most wonderful videos and photos as the ashes and flowers were dispersed. When you can talk to someone from your heart and feel they are listening — it's a great comfort.

Burial at Sea in Daytona Beach & New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Florida's Atlantic coastline offers one of the most beautiful and meaningful settings in the world for a burial at sea or cremation ash scattering ceremony. We are honored to serve families throughout Volusia County and beyond.

Ash Scattering in New Smyrna Beach

New Smyrna Beach is home to our primary departure point at 2574 Turnbull Bay Rd, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168. From here, Captain Brad navigates the Indian River Lagoon and out through Ponce Inlet into the open Atlantic Ocean — one of the most scenic and peaceful routes on Florida's east coast.

The calm, clear waters off New Smyrna Beach make it an ideal location for a cremation ash scattering ceremony. Whether you choose an attended service with family aboard or a private non-attended ceremony, the natural beauty of this stretch of coastline provides a truly fitting farewell.

New Smyrna Beach is known for its laid-back, community feel — a place where people have deep roots and a love for the ocean. Many families choose this location because it was a place their loved one cherished during their lifetime.

Ash Scattering in Daytona Beach

We proudly serve families from Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Ormond Beach, and the surrounding Volusia County area. Our departure point is easily accessible from Daytona Beach — just a short drive south along the coast to New Smyrna Beach.

The waters off Daytona Beach and the greater Volusia County coastline are rich with marine life and natural beauty. Scattering ashes at sea here means your loved one's final resting place is among the dolphins, sea turtles, and the endless blue horizon of the Atlantic.

Florida law requires ashes to be scattered at least 3 nautical miles offshore. We handle all the logistics so your family can focus entirely on honoring your loved one — we'll provide the exact GPS coordinates of the ceremony so you always know where they rest.

Why Families Choose a Burial at Sea Ceremony

A Meaningful Farewell

For those who loved the ocean, the beach, or the water, a burial at sea is a deeply personal and fitting tribute — returning them to the place they felt most at peace.

Eco-Friendly & Natural

No Ongoing Maintenance

Unlike a traditional grave site, the sea requires no upkeep. Families can visit the coast anytime and feel close to their loved one.

GPS Coordinates Provided

We provide the exact latitude and longitude of every ceremony so your family always knows the precise location of your loved one's final resting place.

Affordable & Dignified

Our services start at $425 for a non-attended ceremony and $550 for an attended service — a meaningful tribute that doesn't require a large budget.

Fully Legal in Florida

We comply with all EPA and Florida state regulations. Ashes are scattered at least 3 nautical miles offshore, and we handle all required documentation.

What to Expect on the Day of Your Ceremony
