Burial at Sea Service -Burial at sea options

Cremation Services by ashes at sea florida

At Ashes at Sea Florida, we provide compassionate and personalized cremation services that honor the life of your loved one. Our experienced team is committed to ensuring that the process is smooth and stress-free for you. We offer a variety of burial at sea options, including traditional, memorial, and direct cremation services. With Ashes at Sea Florida, you can trust that your loved one is in good hands. When you release your loved one’s cremains into the ocean, you’re not saying goodbye; you’re ‘letting go,’ creating that ‘special place of memory,’ and ‘celebrating your loved one’s freedom.’ We also prioritize eco-friendly values by offering biodegradable and green urns for those making end-of-life arrangements. Green burial is just one example of our dedication to accommodating the diverse requests of the families we are honored to serve. Our attended memorial service cruise includes: the Captain and First Mate greeting family and guests at our pickup location, 2455 Boat Ramp Drive, New Smyrna Beach, and providing brief safety instructions to all passengers. The cruise departs to a serene location approximately three miles offshore, with a total cruise time of about one hour, which can be adjusted at the client's request. Clients and family members are welcome to bring music and photos. Upon arrival at the designated serene location, family members can conduct a burial service, which includes a reading of a passage, a ceremony, the release of cremains, and ash scattering services, along with memorial flowers, rose petals, or any biodegradable momentos. After the ceremony concludes, the Captain will make the 'Circle of Life' pass in Ponce Inlet, Daytona Beach, or New Smyrna Beach, allowing the family to take all the time they need to reflect and say their goodbyes. Additionally, the option to disburse additional cremains of other family members during the same cruise is available for an extra cost per burial at sea service. After debarkation, the Captain will meet with a designated family member to resolve any monetary compensation. While gratuity is not included, a 10% to 20% crew gratuity is an accepted way to express gratitude for exceptional crew service. The cost of a burial service varies depending on the chosen option, and we provide both non-attended memorials and attended memorial services to release loved ones' ashes. Upon request, a certificate with the loved one’s name, coordinates, time, and date can be provided for $250.
